What is required for to enrol my child as a student at Marshall Laing Primary School?

An enrolment form must be completed for each new child to our school. The enrolment form requires documentation such as a birth certificate or passport, proof of NZ residence/visa (where applicable) and immunisation forms. Please note that we cannot enrol a student without proof of NZ residency through a birth certificate or passport.

Documentation required:

• Your child’s Birth Certificate or NZ Passport (if your child was not born in NZ their passport is required)

• Proof of NZ residence/visa (where applicable)

• Parent’s Passport (if the child has a parent who was not born in NZ and does not speak English as their first language, we must photocopy the parent’s passport for ESOL funding)

• Immunisation record (Plunket book or Medical History)

 

You will also need to provide two copies of proof of residence of a property within the home zone with the name of a parent or legal guardian that also includes an address within the home zone. These need to be current, covering the date of enrolment.
